Writing Workshop at Kunzum Delhi
October 30, 2022 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Writing a good story isn’t easy. Making a story great is even harder – you have to bring it to life in the readers mind. The folks from the Himalayan Writing Retreat (rated 5 star) will be teaching that specific skill at the one day workshop at Kunzum Delhi on October 30.
In this workshop a set of 20 writers (newbies & alums welcome) will experiment with a set of techniques which can help bring their stories to life. You, gentle writer, will write a lot and get feedback on your writing. You’ll learn not just from Chetan Mahajan, the writing coach (profile below), but from your fellow participants as well.
We’ll go deep into one specific aspect of a good story : how do you make it rich and engaging. What will dialogue do for you? What about inner monologues? Can objects play a role? And we dive deeper into “show Vs tell” – not just as a dry concept, but an applied tool.
By the end of the day you will have tools and insights which will help you take your story up a few notches, if not more.
The price of INR 5000 includes lunch (vegetarian pizza)* and taxes. The venue is the beautiful Kunzum Lounge in Jor Bagh, Delhi. Only the first 20 applicants will be accepted.
*If you have special needs, or if Veggie Pizza wont do, please feel free to bring your own lunch.
Kunzum Jorbagh is located at 182, Jor Bagh Colony Rd, Jor Bagh, New Delhi 110003. (Nearest Metro: Jorbagh. Exit Gate #1).
