How to Get Published: A Workshop by The Himalayan Writing Retreat Is Here to Help You Crack the Code!

The Himalayan Writing Retreat is holding an insightful workshop at Kunzum Jorbagh that will guide you in taking that critical next step of your writing career. Whether you’re a first-time writer working on a manuscript or a published author who wants a better publishing deal this time, this workshop is for everyone who wants to decipher the publishing industry. This three-hour workshop will answer all your questions like “Why is traditional publishing so difficult?”, “Is paying a publisher okay?”, “Who is a literary agent and what do they do?”

The instructor is Chetan Mahajan, a Penguin-published author, speaker, and writing coach. He will walk you through the industry and help you make sense of it. At the end of the workshop, you will have a road map on the best course of action for you and your story.

About the Instructor


Chetan Mahajan leads this writing course. Chetan has spent two decades working in on-line learning, both in the US and India. He started teaching online in 2006 as a faculty member at the University of Phoenix online.

Chetan is a Penguin-published author and an award-winning blogger. Chetan and his wife Dr. Vandita Dubey (also a published author) moved to the Himalayas seven years ago. There they founded the Himalayan Writing Retreat.

Hindi Writing

Chetan is now a full-time writer and works as a  writing coach independently as well as with the London based the writing coach.  He also writes for The MintOutlook Magazine, HT BrunchReader’s Digest and Hindu Business Line.
